We planned to stay for the whole month of April but left after 16 days. The VOG was so bad I had a sore throat after about the first 3 days on the island. We love Hawaii and want to come back for a couple months stay. We do not want to stay where we are affected by the VOG. We have been unable to find if there is an area within the islands that is not effected by the VOG. At least information about the VOG is being published.
